Gazetteer

This project is a Gazetteer, a web application that allows users to search for and view information about countries, including their borders, capital city, region, languages, population, country area, currency, and coat of arms.

The map has a number of buttons on the left of the map providing interesting functionality to the user. The first button is for getting a random country from the map. The next six buttons provide information, allowing users to access selected country information, weather, currency, Wikipedia, news, and snapshots.

This project is built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, AJAX, Bootstrap and jQuery. It provides a responsive and user-friendly interface for easy navigation on the gazetteer.

Company Directory

This is a company directory application that allows users to manage personnel, departments, and locations. Users can read, add, edit, and delete records through a user-friendly interface. Search and filter functionalities are also available.

The application is built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, AJAX, Bootstrap and jQuery, with a MySQL database for data storage. It provides a responsive and user-friendly interface for easy navigation and management of personnel, departments, and locations.

Task Management App

A Trello like task management app using WebSocket API with Lambda function and DynamoDB in the backend, and using Sockette websocket and Atlassian Drag and Drop Library in the React frontend.

Google Calendar EventTemplates Add-on

Imagine you have many events that occur regularly, like birthdays, meetings or even workout sessions. Instead of manually adding all the details every time, EventTemplates lets you create templates for these events. Think of templates as pre-designed forms that you can reuse whenever you need to schedule a similar event again.

The application is built using Apps Script, a programming language provided by Google Workspace.

This is a CS project that integrates binary search and ChatGPT into the Tax Advisor and an algorithm for calculating tax in the UK in 2022-2023.

AstartesDot

Astartes is a tamper-evident logging and forensic audit system designed to enhance integrity in high-security infrastructure. It ensures that logs cannot be silently altered by internal actors—even with privileged access—by anchoring cryptographic proofs to a public blockchain and verifying log consistency across distributed systems.

The application is built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Tailwind CSS and Ethers.js library. It builds merkle trees and submits hashes to the Polkadot blockchain.

Hiro Hackathon

Finishing projects — from reshaping social spaces to crafting a custom blockchain API — has been an incredible exploration of Web3 frontiers.

The applications are built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Tailwind CSS and Clarity.

Covid-19 Hong Kong Info App

It is an Android App created using the MIT App Inventor. With this app, I won 3rd place in the adult track in the MIT App Inventor Hackathon 2020. The app provides live information about COVID-19 to app users in Hong Kong.

One of the app's key features is its ability to provide live walking alerts, warning users if they are within 20 meters of infected locations. These locations are marked with a red dot, and you can access more information by pressing on the marker. Only markers in close proximity to you will be shown.

The second feature of the app is to show all the locations in Hong Kong that were infected within 14 days on the map. You can have an overview of the situation in Hong Kong. Again, you can know more by clicking on the markers.

The third feature directs users to the Hong Kong government's COVID-19 news webpage. You can read the latest news here.

The final feature is to read the database in a list view. You can check the case number and the infected locations in a list.
